菠蘿

菠蘿 is a phonetic word for pineapple (although it's not very close). In Taiwan, 鳳梨 is more commonly used.

Pineapples originated in South America and are cultivated in tropical climes around the world, including Taiwan, famous for their pineapple cakes (featured in their airport gift shops).
