椒鹽

椒 is pepper, and 鹽 is salt, so 椒鹽 is pepper salt.

椒鹽 is also used in the Chinese word for pretzel.

A salt and pepper mixture used to season deep-fried dishes. Sichuan pepper (花椒 flower pepper) is traditionally used, but black and white pepper is common, too (possibly due to the former US import restrictions on Sichuan pepper).
