da hong pao, the Mandarin pronunciation of this tea, is a traditionally expensive Wuyi oolong tea (but affordable if you buy the ones that aren't from the original da hong pao trees).

Trivia

When Nixon made his famous visit to China, Mao gifted him with a rare and expensive batch of da hong pao. Nixon was insulted by the gift of a a clump of leaves until an official set him straight.
