náaih hēung
Not to be confused with milk tea, which is tea with milk added, milk oolong tea is a Taiwanees oolong tea developed in the 1980s that has a naturally milky taste (so if milk is added, it's milk milk oolong).
Origin
This specific variety of oolong originated in Taiwan and is named 金萱 (Jin Xuan in Mandarin, literally Golden Daylily), but sometimes the term milk oolong is more broadly applied to other varieties of oolong or even those with milk-flavored additives.
