咖喱

Curry is not part of traditional Chinese cuisine but appears in some popular Hong Kong dishes, mostly as curry sauce (curry fish balls, curry chicken and curry beef on rice) and as curry powder (Singapore-style noodles).

咖喱 is a loanword (ga lēi in Cantonese, kā li in Mandarin) that sounds like curry.
