潮州菜

潮州 is Chaozhou, and 菜 is vegetable or dish or cuisine, so 潮州菜 is Chaozhou cuisine.

Chaozhou cuisineis also known as Chiuchow cuisine or Teochow cuisine or Chaoshan cuisine (Chaoshan is the area surrounding the city of Chaozhou on the eastern end of Guangdong provice). Chaozhou cuisine is distinct from Cantonese cuisine (sometimes labeled a subset), but Chaozhou-style fun guo is a standard Cantonese dim sum item.
